Fall is coming fast and we are preparing to launch the most exciting and intense Halloween Haunted Attraction in our 11 year history at Bennett's Curse Haunted Houses.. Bennett's Curse will be featured again on the Travel Channel this year and we are expanding our attraction to feature the largest and most terrifyiing 3D attraction around! If you've ever wondered what if was like to be on the other side of the scares, this is your chance! Have you volunteered at a local haunted house or hayride in the past and looking to make a few extra bucks just in time for the Christmas shopping season? Now is your chance to take part in the top rated Halloween attraction the the MD/DC/NoVA region, have a blast while scaring our guests, and getting paid! Nearly all area haunts are volunteer, we believe in rewarding our "monsters" and we expect the best and most enthusiastic people out there.

No experience is neccesary but you must be a team player, willing to commit to our dates, and be full of energy every tour ready to scare our guests and have some fun! No drugs, no alcohol no profanity.

"Bennett's Curse", "Maryland and DC's Best Haunted Attraction" is holding auditions for their 2010 Attraction. We are looking for males and females 18 years of age and older who are dependable, energetic, enthusiastic, a team player and comfortable with improvisation.

Auditions will be held at Blob's Park in Jessup, Maryland (8024 Max Blob's Park Rd. Jessup, MD 20794)
Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 1pm to 4pm.
Callbacks and orientation on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 1pm to 4pm.

All performers MUST be able to commit to the entire run of the event and orientation/training dates.
Orientation/ Training: Sept 19 1pm-4pm, and Sept. 22 (time TBD)
Performances: 24-26, Oct. 1-3, 7-10, 14-17, 21-24, 27-31. All performances begin at 7pm.
Call times will be no later than 6pm.
Note: This year's event will take place at Blob's Park in Jessup, Maryland!

It took a lot of convincing from the powers that be before Ryder and I agreed to do this week's Scene at a haunted house... But than again this haunted house has been featured on the Travel Channel and it's next door to Medieval Times at Arundel Mills. Whether you're an amateur like me or a haunted house groupie that travels all around the region, you can't get any better than Bennett's Curse.

Now we couldn't shed too much light on the behind the scenes action, but let's just say the segment itself still gives me the heebie jeebies...
